This was all quoted to KaalaSmallTeeth on Ourani Forums. I just want to share the word so it doesn't happen here!
We want to remind everyone that we want to keep both the chat and forum safe for all users! So as a heads up there are things to be cautious of when posting images on your sniff or on the forum. Whether it's your signature, avatar or an image you've created, keep in mind that there are people out there with different levels of Epilepsy.
These are just as important as shock sites! As those give users heart attacks, these cause seizures for users and can be fatal. Some cases are worse than others.
Example of what can cause a Photosensitive Epileptic person to go in to a seizure:
If you are asked to remove an image for these reasons, please do take them down immediately. We do not want to harm any of our users. They have just as much right to be here as anyone else, because they enjoy being here just as you do.
Just remember to think before posting!
*** One of the reasons why I am posting this is because I know some of you guys who frequent Ourani have some type of epilepsy. It was recently brought back into my attention when one of them asked me to remove my old signature image due to this reason. I did not know something like a glitch could cause an episode until they told me.
Usually, it's thought of just flashing images or lights that would cause this, which is true but that also depends on the kind of epilepsy the individual has and how severe it is.
If you have any images similar to the one below or more severe, the forum moderation staff will ask you to remove it. If you want to post one in the showcase or any other topics, please spoiler or link to it with "Seizure Warning" above it or next to it.
If you are unsure whether an image should have a warning or not, feel free to ask a staff member! We'll do our best to help you out! n_n

Gifs / moving images that are okay include but are not limited to pixels (most pixel movements tend to be simple and easy to follow).
If an image blinks/flickers four times or more in one second, it's blinking too quickly to be posted in plain view (this is in line with web standards).
If an image is potentially unsafe under that guideline, please link it externally or hide it in a spoiler and place a clearly warning above it.
For images that you're unsure about- If you're seriously questioning "Is this dangerous?", best to just spoiler it with a warning.
Use common sense with this and nobody should have problems. We as a community want to remain easily accessible to everyone who wants to participate. Thank you for keeping Fabled Dreams safe and fun for everyone.
Happy Chatting, The Staff!

Flashing lights or rapidly changing or alternating images (as in clubs, around emergency vehicles, in action movies or television programs, etc.) are an example of patterns in time that can trigger seizures, and these are the most common triggers. Static spatial patterns such as stripes and squares may trigger seizures as well, even if they do not move. In some cases, the trigger must be both spatially and temporally cyclic, such as a certain moving pattern of bars.
